This year it is planned to hold the events to promote a book, popularize reading, national culture and literature. Among them there are events, dedicated to the International Day of Native Language (February, 21), International Poetry Day (March, 21), International Children’s Book Day (April, 2), International Day of the Book (April, 23), Slavic Handwriting and Culture Day (May, 24).
The Red Book is a special book; it is called the document of a human conscience.
Red books are the most widely used documents in the sphere of nature preservation of all countries. They are meant to concentrate attention on the species that have high environmental significance.
