The territory of Nature and Ecology Museum is a small landscape garden with variety of ornamental plants and a little pond with fish. From the early spring till the late autumn the garden is decorated with flowers and quaint in shape and color leaves of plants. Leaning over the pond, a tiny shadoof, made from dry grass by the gardener Urban Svetlana, stares at fish.
Visitor starts to contemplate about the man-nature relations before actual entrance to the exposition when he sees the sculpture “A Fish in the Sunlight. Ecological motive” by V. Slobodchikov. The sculpture was awarded on the first international sculpture exhibition in China. It holds a lot of philosophical sense – everyone sees in it something special, something of his own.
